Lounge Review: Emirates Brisbane Airport

Today I've been treated to the opportunity to fly Business Class from Brisbane to Auckland on Emirates flagship aircraft the Airbus A380.

As part of the trip we've been given complementary access to the Emirates Business and First Class Lounge at Brisbane Airport.

Upon entering the lounge you're greeted and offered a tour of the lounge. I politely decline instead opting to let my senses take me on a journey into the unknown.

The lounge is located on a purpose built upper deck area of the gates at Brisbane Airport. It offers near 360 degrees views across the airport and greater Brisbane. It's bright, light and comfortable to say the least.

Of course there's shower facilities to freshen up in and complementary Wi-Fi to check those last minute emails. Well in most cases but now Emirates offers on-board Wi-Fi.

The formal dining area And the lounges for relaxing in

An impressive array of gourmet foods are on offer for breakfast. The food is properly gourmet. There is no shortage in high class delicatessens. The food is healthy and well presented. You feel like you're special. That's because you are.

A large area to serve food from and make your choice from Fruits and bagels are on offer Warm food for breakfast awaits you! Toasties and Omelettes are the specialities for breakfast For the savoury pallet Staple breakfast menu items of juices, cereals and yoghurt are on offer

Beverages are in no shortage either. Whatever you feel like at any hour you can have it without question. Coffee, hot chocolates, champagne, whiskey or gin.

No shortage of fine spirits

The staff are superb.

Their mission is to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Nothing is a problem for them.

You feel at ease in the lounge. It's a relaxing and calming atmosphere.

When it comes time for your flight, there is an aerobridge from the lounge to the business class level of the aircraft.

You really do board to the top deck.

The whole experience is pure luxury.
